The Village of Midlothian Volunteer Committees
All of these committee meetings are open to everyone in the community. Formal membership is not required to participate in any project. Everyone is welcome to participate in discussions of recommendations, planning and activities. To hold a formal vote or take a leadership position only requires membership in the Village of Midlothian Volunteer Coalition. Click here to find out how.

Development & Land Use Committee
The volunteers of this committee serve as a community resource to help elected and appointed officials, government professionals, landowners, real estate developers, businesses and citizens establish a consensus regarding zoning and planning issues.

Greenspace Committee
When individuals, agencies, businesses or groups seek help or suggestions about what is needed or appropriate in or around the village, the Midlothian Greenspace Committee helps by creating consensus, introducing like-minded people to each other and, if necessary, bringing together resources.

Community Committee
This group of active volunteers assists in coordinating events, programs, tours and fundraising efforts in and around the village, working with government, community groups, businesses and individuals on projects large and small.

Communications Committee
The Village of Midlothian Communications Committee is the result of the cooperation of seven independent Midlothian community volunteer organizations. Each group saw benefits in working together–not only to advance their own programs but to better serve the community at large.
